Hello! My name is Ella Schweitzer. I am from Lake Tahoe, Nevada and will be a Senior in the fall. I have been competing in high jump for 3 years. I earned state titles in both 2022 and 2024. In April of 2023, I suffered from a major ankle injury needing surgery around 6 months later. Despite this setback, I competed with my team in 2023, winning a team state title, a 4x100 title, and took 2nd place for myself, in high jump. This most recent season, I competed mainly in high jump (due to healing from surgery), earning 5 wins in the regular season and winning both state and regionals in the championship season. Now that I have healed, I am open to competing in a multitude of different events, 4x100, 100, 200, hurdles, etc. In the classroom, I am very driven and focused, earning a 4.0 GPA while taking college-level courses. I plan on majoring in Biology/bio related and want to become an Obstetrician. I will absolutely carry over my work ethic to college, both on the track and in the classroom. Sports have been everything to me my entire life and I can't wait to see where I end up!
