Hi my name is Kylie Rodriguez! I am a junior at BRHS in NJ. I am on the varsity winter track team and the varisty spring track team. My main events are the 200m and 4x200m. I started running track in high school my freshman year, and ever since running has became my life. Over my sophomore year(2022-2023) winter and spring season, I have improved tremendously. I started my 2022-2023 winter season running a 32 second 200m, and finished my 2023 spring season running a 29.42 second 200m. During my 2023 spring track season I won 3rd place at SCIAA Sprint Track Relay for the 4x200m, 3rd place at Raider Novice for the 4x100m, and 4th place at the Raider Novice Invite for the 4x100m. I am very hardworking and motivated with anything I do. I do not give up no matter the challenge. My coach and teammates call me "Pitbull", because my coach tells me I am very tenacious and on and off the track to reach my goals. During almost all my races I can hear my coach telling me to "be tenacious" or "lets go pitbull" from the sidelines. During my sophomore season I realized I wanted to continue my track journey in college. Track has became my passion over the past year and I am very dedicated in improving my times as well as skill. Overall my goal is to run competitively in college, as well study Early Childhood Education. And I will continue to work harder each day to reach my overall goals!
