Hi! My name is Emily Butler, and I am a junior at Cherokee High School in NJ. I have always been a runner at heart and found an instant love for track and field from the moment I first put on a pair of spikes. I'm a competitive person and love pushing myself and others to be their very best, whether that is on the track or in the classroom. My dedication and drive, as well as my love for what I do, have really formed me as a runner and a student. I persevere through every challenge, or better yet, hurdle, that life throws at me with a positive attitude and eagerness to grow and succeed. The relationships that I have forged through leadership and life have served me in countless ways. Many of my peers compliment me on my optimism and passion for everything that I do. I hope to be able to bring my positivity and drive to the highest level and to run collegiately. Through hard work and an overwhelming love for what I do, I know that I can do anything.
