During my collegiate career I want to win a variety of NCAA championships along with setting both personal and school records. In addition I want to improve my skills, learn new techniques, and improve as an athlete overall. I have extremely high standards for myself and try to be the best version of myself I can be both on and off the field. My 2022-23 track and field season was a very accomplishing one. I started the year with many injuries which later led to many victories. I’m cross country we won our conference for the first time in our teams history with me being the final leg to lead our team to victory. Additional I opened my indoor season with a 3 second 800 pr and although I experienced many challenges I was blessed with the opportunity to attend Nike Indoor Nationals as an alternative. I managed to finish my indoor season with a cumulative 4 second pr. In entering my outdoor season I struggled with cutting my times but as the season progressed so did my times. At NJ state sectionals my 4x8 managed to drop a 22 second relay pr allowing us to place 6th overall and advance to groups im for the first time in 10 years. This resulted in our team being sectional champs. At Group championships I ran a 4 second split pr, resulting in my 800 time being 11 seconds faster than my last outdoor season. Regarding academics I try my best to strive to be one of the best in my graduating class. I graduated middle school 5th in my class with a 4.1 GPA while being a member of the National Junior Honor Society. In completion of my freshman year of high school, I was selected to be a participant of the National Society of High School Scholars. Outside of Academics and Athletics I play 4 different instruments and write music. I have written over 20 songs and have been given to opportunity to work with industry professionals including Damon Sharpe (Ariana Grande), and Kelly Nicole (Nipsey Hussle, Beyonce, etc.) As a result I believe I am an extremely well rounded student with many dreams and aspirations and would be a great candidate for your collegiate team.
