I love doing sports not just running, but basketball and swimming; though I didn’t always know that I was good at sports until I joined a triathlon at the last minute. There was a group of two people that needed a swimmer to have a completed team, at this time I was ten years old. When I was waiting for the biker to get back to the pool we had dropped down to seventh place, but I later found out, my endurance I showed during the 1/2 mile race helped our team come back in third place. After this I found my love for sports and later joined the cross-country team at Roosevelt Middle school. Throughout my three years of running at Roosevelt I have achieved most of my goals. I won the Nick Martin Memorial race at East Mountain High School, and was one of the top runners on the team.
Like those goals that I had set for myself in middle school I have set some for myself now. Though one of my main goals is to become one of the top runners on the East Mountain cross-country team, hopefully in my freshman or sophomore year. I am hoping that with my running ability I will be able to get a scholarship to a college, and receive a Business Degree, and a Culinary Degree, so that I may own a bakery. I am excited for the future and hope you will pick me for your team.
