Caitlyn Nicholson '21 Recruiting Profile

The small town school I come from, everyone competes in every single sport, and we win state championships. I learned this growing up and being raised here. Basketball was my flame, but when I got to middle school, I started to throw for our junior high track team, I instantly grew a passion for it. Last year, due to personal reasons, I wasn’t allowed to play contact sports anymore, which totally took away the two sports I grew up playing. Basketball and Volleyball. It made me grow as a person, and become stronger because I thought I would always have them. I knew track and field was for me, from the moment I stepped in that ring. Ever since then, I set a goal to be the best I can be. I want to set a goal, and achieve that goal, just like my state championship teams through my high school career has.
