Cora Rose '21 Recruiting Profile

I was introduced into Track and Field at the young age of 6. Both of my parents were involved and competed in Track and Field both at the High School and College level. As time progressed, my passion for the sport has grown tremendously. I have worked hard to accomplish improving my marks and my training mentally, physically, and focusing on dietary needs. I will continue putting in my best effort to reach my triple jump goals of returning to States, placing at states, and having a long-term goal of going 40 feet or more!!  I will also work just as hard to accomplish my long jump goals of paying more attention to where my hips are in the air with a long-term goal of jumping 20 feet! Although, my main desire is to compete in the triple jump and long jump, I am also able to compete in the discus, 800 meter, 100 meters, 200 meters, and any relay you need me to run.

In my academics I carry this same motivation and drive. I wish to major in primary school education with a possible minor in the physical sciences of Chemistry or Living Environment. I want to succeed, so I can have the necessary abilities to be the best teacher to every child no matter the challenge. My focus is to effectively help children learn valuable skills that they will need in the world, while they enjoy the process. I strive to be the best person I can be within my heart, in athletics, and academically, which makes me a good leader in life, sports, and any  academic team.
