Personal Statement
I have been on varsity cross country, indoor, and outdoor track since I joined my high school team in 2017. Even before joining track and cross country at the high school level running has always been a staple in my life. I ran my first 5K with my family when I was very little maybe 6 or 7 and the sport has stuck with me ever since. I have found a love for the sport but a I like being a member of the team more, I am a very serious team player and place my teammates before myself in every situation.
Being able to find a college that will allow me to continue my passion for running but also allow for a great team is my number one priority, more so than the level of competition. I am currently undecided on my college major but am looking into a possible major in a field such as environmental science.
