Hi I'm Natalia Kessel I'm a freshman in high school and I've been throwing in track and field since the spring of my 7th grade year. When I started throwing I knew that I was going to be good at it and it was something I wanted to do threw out high school and hopefully in college. my first track meet my 7th grade year I was very nervous but I did my best and ended up getting first. Threw out my 7th grade year I've gotten first place in every track meet in discus and second or third in shot put. That didn't stop me from pushing myself to get better for the years ahead. My 8th grade year I didn't get very many track meets because of snow and cold weather. I still wanted to work on getting better i worked out watched videos to help me understand what I need to work on. and im still working on training my mind and body the steps of a full spin. My goal for this year is to get the full spin down and throw at least a 110 in discus and a 40'6 in shot.
i think what makes me stand out from other great athletes is I push my self to do my best and when I make mistakes i will look at what i did wrong and work on it. also when I set goals I try my very best to archive them and it gives me something to keep pushing myself threw hard times. i am also doing very good in school I have all A and work very hard to archive my dreams. I think id be good for a college team because i working with others and get stronger with my team mate ands learning new new things that I can share with them. I think it's important to be close with your teammates and coach so they can help you push yourself to do better.
