I have been playing soccer since I was 3. At the age of 10, I began to take the sport seriously and seeking additional training. I play soccer year-round. In the fall, I play for my school's team. In the winter, I play in-door soccer at two local facilities. In the spring, I play travel soccer with the Chillicothe FCFC league. In the summer, I continue training with our local high school team and even attend weight-lifting twice weekly. In addition, I participate in outdoor track in the spring and indoor track in the winter - I have found I enjoy shotput, discus, weight throw, and hammer throw. My off-season sports are mainly to keep conditioned for my main soccer seasons. I am very dedicated and hate to miss practice. I even go to extra practices with my FCFC coach - he also coaches a U16 boys team which I practice with. In the winter, I play on three teams, two high school girls teams with other girls from my high school and surrounding area as well as one high school boys team with fellow freshman boys (I am the only girl on the team). I primarily play goalie for my girls teams but play defense and offense for my boys team. I can also play mid-field and offense and have with my teams in the past. I am very dedicated to my sport and am working my best to eventually play soccer at the college level!
In addition to my athletics, I am also dedicated to academics. I have all A's as a freshman and was a member of our local Junior High National Honor Society. It is my goal to be in the High School National Honor Society as well. I work very hard to get as much work done at school during classtime and during study hall so that I can dedicate my evenings to sports.
Furthermore, I also enjoy being involved in 4-H where I have taken projects in cooking (another favorite of mine). I also take a market hog to the local county fair every year.
In my free time (there is very little), I enjoy spending time with my friends and with my family.
