Hi my name is Riki and I interested in becoming a collegiate track and field athlete. I started running when I was 5 years old. I qualified for the AAU Jr. Olympics each year until I was 8. My parents finally allowed me to go and participate in 2017, I competed in the 100m (16.1), 4x100m relay and long jump(12-00). I took a SELAH 2 of my 3 years of middle school. I started running again my freshman year of high school.
I also play volleyball and basketball. I have participated in both sports on the varsity teams since my freshman year. I was a member of the 1st time Conference Winning Basketball Team in 2023. Our track team also won conference for the 1st time in school history in 2023. We broke several school records, including myself in the 100m, 4x100m relay, & 4x200m relay. I ran the entire year with a hip flexor, not performing to my fullest potential due to the pain. I was among 1 of the 1st individuals in our school history to qualify for our regional meet 2023. I participated in the 100m and 4x100m relay (7th).
My personal bests as of 2024:
100m - 13.1
200m -
4x100m relay -
4x200m relay -
I started this year 2024 on the varsity volleyball team (the only underclassman).
I am currently training with a private coach working on fine tuning my running fundamentals.
