Everything that happens in life has an impact. While many things I have experienced throughout my years in high school have had an effect on who I have become, the biggest impact on my life has been track & field. I have learned so much, from how to work with a team, to being disciplined, and how to cope with failure. Track has served as a backbone to everything I do in my life. It has showed me the ways to persevere through all obstacles, to work through the pain even when you feel it’s the end and to be responsible for myself and my actions. It has changed my life, and also prepared me to live in the real world.
While I didn’t get to run my sophomore year, I think it impacted me a lot. I wish I can take back some things that happen it was so many obstacles that held me back all I could do was go hard my junior year. I ran freshman year with Cincinnati College Prepatory Academy I I didn’t run sophomore year and just ended my junior year. This is all I do. Eat sleep and repeat track. I give 100 percent in everything I do including my academics. In the classroom I am focused and determined to always do my best and put 100% into all homework assignments, projects and tests. I take all honors classes and have a great weighted and unweighted gpa.
I just need to make it in life and be successful I know I’m not the smartest but I will try I know I’m not the best but I will give my best. I’m dedicated and passionate about what I want to do and this is it. I want to go far with track and field.
