I am a long sprinter and hurdler and due to the covid 19 pandemic, I was deprived of a sophomore season. However, some of my accomplishments that I have achieved my junior year (In the 300m hurdles) include being ECC and District champ with a PR of 44.74, ranked first in my region (placing second), and ranked 3rd overall in the state (division 1). Very unfortunately, I got disqualified at my state meet this year after slightly moving my hips after set was called. I was devastated to say the least but it is only motivating me to work harder for next year. I have recently learned because of my 300 hurdles time I qualify for the Junior Olympic USATF Nationals in Jacksonville, Florida this summer where I will be competing and training with my new club team (Cincinnati All Stars).
Academically, I have maintained a 3.8 GPA throughout my high school career with a rigorous schedule including many honors and AP courses. My senior year I will continue taking a number of AP courses and several science courses that fit my interest in biology/environmental science. I am a very hard worker and will strive to continue to meet my goals both academically and athletically my senior year.
