My dreams, goals, and aspirations are to go to a premier college where I can achieve academic success while participating on a highly respected track and field team. I aspire to balance academics, track, and social life and to excel in each area. I am confident I can be successful in all my endeavors and I have a clear understanding of the hard work and sacrifices required to make that dream a reality. My goals in life are to graduate from high school with good grades and to leave a legacy at my school and in my community that people can look up to as a role model. I aspire to major in nursing.
I have self-discipline, and resilience, and perform well under pressure. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates to be the best they can be. I am very coachable and willing to do what it takes to improve and make my team better. I strive to be one of the hardest-working athletes on the team.
I work hard year-round on my conditioning and training. I first started participating in AAU track and field when I was in the third grade and advanced to the National Junior Olympics. I have also run in over thirty local 5K and 4-mile races. In addition to track and field, I have participated in club soccer, AAU basketball, high school soccer, basketball, track & field, and lifting in the weight room, which all contribute to my athleticism. In addition, I have qualified for the OHSAA State Track Meet during both my freshman and sophomore years, earning All-Ohio honors in two relays and one individual event.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a good GPA. I participate in Leo Club and also volunteer at local youth basketball, soccer, and track & field camps. I am strong in my faith and contribute to my church, The Church of the Good Shepherd, by helping with the youth group and worship services.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the track. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match with outstanding competition. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and to make my family and community proud.
