Juliana Metz '21 Recruiting Profile

Every high school student in pursuit of a better life aspires to find something to be good at; something that distinguishes them for who they are in the eyes of others. I have met many students at national running camps and competitions who use nouns such as sprinter, marathoner, mathematician, and even model to describe themselves. Me, well if I had to describe myself in one word, it would be “Finisher.” Once I start something the goal is to complete the task at hand with passion. Running and the pursuit of a good education were passions instilled in me from an early age through my upbringing. Along the way, I have learned to push myself to present the best personification of me that I can. Whether it’s on the field of competition, or in the classroom, I give my all determined to finish strong in all aspects of my life. I believe my high school academic career coupled with my participation and accomplishments in cross country and track, speak to my work ethic and ability to achieve at the collegiate level as a student-athlete. I look forward to discussing the next chapter of my life in the near future.
