I have always been a runner ever since my parents signed me up for the local 5ks in elementary school, but my passion has truly grown since entering the high school atmosphere. My favorite part about running is the team and the family built within the sport. I love how our sport is based on the endurance and determination one has to push through the uncomfortable. I am looking to make an impact on a team that supports and celebrates each other's successes while competing to get better at the same time. After running on the Ohio Cross Country state winning team this year, it has shown me that running is not just about how fast you can run but how you can work together and push yourself with your team to reach the end goal. After high school I want to study education focusing on 7-12 grades,  and pursue my running career with full force. I am a bubbly, outgoing girl who loves to find the balance between school, athletics and friends, always putting priorities first.
