2022 Highlights Personal Statement
Hi my name is Ava Hoffman. I am a former level 9 gymnast. I started track when I was a freshman! I didn’t know much about the sport or what events I wanted to do! My coach put me in high jump and after our first indoor meet. That was when I knew high jump is something I want to do. My PR is 5’1. Our last meet before 2023 indoor state, I was thrown into triple jump and with no practice I qualified for state! I ended up being All Ohio in high jump at indoor state! I am a very hard worker and I always strive to do my best. Sometimes I get frustrated but that only pushes me to do better. I want a team that can push and motivate me and I believe I could bring hard work and motivation to the team!
