Personal Statement
One of my biggest goals that I've had for most of my life is to compete at a high college level. I am a very hard working dedicated athlete. Not only am I dedicated to all of the sports I do physically I also am mentally. I have no off season. I train for all of my actives all year round. I give it my heart and soul every single time I practice. Being so committed to sports pushes me in my training. I am always willing to train better, work harder, and put more effort in. Being extremely dedicated to a sport is more than just showing up to practice. I believe having an amazing bond with your coaches and your team is one of the biggest ways for you to succeed. Being an extremely outgoing person this comes easy to me. This helps make me stand out from others. I always try to lighten the mood, push people through the pain, and laugh. Laughing really goes a long way. Being able to laugh and create a bond with teammates and couches is what makes me different from many other people. With my sports being so time consuming I put a lot of pressure on myself to make sure I won't just be a stand out athletically but also stand out academically. I take all of the advanced classes my school offers, I take college credit plus classes, I maintain a 4.0 GPA, and will be graduating at the top of my class.

- I have ran this race since the 7th grade. This year I was the second female overall to finish. When I ran this race this year(2021), I had ran a cross country race the day before. I finished 7th over all this year(2021).

- I placed top over all in my age group each race. There was a race every single Wednesday. Boys and girls ran together with all ages, it was also open to the public. I had placed very high in each race between each gender also.

- This 5K race is a yearly event. I have ran this race since I was 6 or 7 years old. This race is dedicated to all the men and women who have fought for our county and gave there lives. When i ran this race last year (2021) I had ran with a 10 pound police vest on. Running with 10 extra pounds of weight on your body makes an extreme difference in difficulty. I had placed 27/250 people men and women.

- This race is also a yearly event. This race is split between kids(0-15) and adults(15-no end). I run this race every year. When I ran this race in 2021, I was coming off of a knee injury and had not ran for months. This course is a total up hill the entire time. With not running for months leading up to this race you would've thought I placed poorly. I ended up placing 10/200 people male and female with a 7 minute flat mile. I was not impressed with my time but I was impressed with my place.
