Dear potential coach,
My name is Raniyah. I am currently a 10th grade student at Jonathan Alder High School. I play basketball and volleyball. Along with throwing in track and I dance. In the future I hope to persue a career in the medical field. I have an unending passion for helping those in need. (As I come from a long line of nurses as well). I am a good candidate for your team because I am dedicated and passionate about T&F. I think what makes me different from other athletes is some people tend to lose the idea that track is an individual sport, yes. However, you have to go pour your heart out on that track, in that ring, in that pit, in that field for your TEAM. Before each and every meet I remind myself WHY I'm doing this. I get frustrated as we all do, that's normal when you feel as if all your work was for none. All the hours spent at the gym, the early mornings, the late nights, the hard conditioning and practices... Is for the betterment of yourself. To further better your TEAM! Athletics do take up a lot of time in my life. However my studies remain #1 to me. I am in student council and an active member of band. I love serving in my community and being involved in school. I personally believe I well represent a student-athlete. I am very serious about throwing in college and would love to speak with you!
Sincerely,
Raniyah
