Camryn Thompson '23 Recruiting Profile

I m excited to attend college to get a degree in either business or communications.  Academics have always been an important part of my life.  My parents instilled in me at a young age that education is extremely important and I have worked hard to earn outstanding grades.  I also hope to complete in track and field at the collegiate level as a high jumper.    I have been a competitive gymnast since I was seven years old.  I worked out in the gymnastics gym anywhere from 15 to 20 hours a week while maintaining high grades in school and cheering for my high school football team  and competing in track.  My experience with gymnastics has helped develop my high jump skills and the ability to handle hard workouts and time management skills.  I am use to discipline and I am willing to put forth the work to improve both academically and in high jump.  I am extremely coachable and I have always had great relationships with my teachers, coaches and teammates.  I look forward to being a college athlete!
