2021 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I've been pole vaulting since summer 2017. Pole vault has taught me many things that are helpful both on and off the runway and it is so much fun to compete in. I currently attend regularly a pole vault clinic in Bellevue, Ohio known as Altitude Headquarters. Pole vault is my main sport and the one I love the most. In 2019 I competed in the Junior High Track and field State Championship, where I placed 11th. In 2021 after missing my freshman season I qualified and competed in the OHSAA Division III Track and Field State Championship and placed 13th after placing 2nd at districts and 4th at regionals. I've accomplished in surpassing my high school's pole vault record and received my varsity letter as a sophomore. I plan to continue my education at a collegiate level and I would like to pursue my pole vaulting career along with it.
