Receiving a private school education allows me to go into more depth in all of my classes, in turn bettering my overall high school experience. My ultimate goal in the classroom at Heritage Hall is to retain everything I learn while succeeding in that particular class. My favorite subject is science, more specifically biology because I am interested in the human body. I additionally plan on studying something in the medical field wherever I may attend college. Although I enjoy running track, I also enjoy the experience the classroom gives me with my fellow classmates and teachers.
What I do in the classroom is just as important as what I do on the track. I have done volleyball, basketball, and track on a competitive level. Out of all of these sports, track is my favorite because I enjoy the atmosphere and the excitement that comes with running. What motivates me to keep running is the thought of, “being successful.” I want to be successful in track and I want to make a career out of it. My ultimate goal is to compete at a collegiate level, continue to the professional level, and one day compete in the Olympics. Having such high goals I try my best to complete the little things that will help me be successful, such as: eating right, staying hydrated, and getting enough sleep. As one of the leaders at my school, I additionally try to ensure my teammates do the same as well.
