2020 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Hello! My name is Avery Gonzales and my goal is to run cross country as a college athlete while earning my academic degrees. My primary goal for college is to become prepared for my future career. Academics and my sport are two very important things to me, and I pressure myself to excel in both.
The thing I am most passionate about is running. I love running! I’ve shown consistent improvement as a result of my strong work ethic. I constantly set new goals for myself and meet them. This season I have been pushing myself above and beyond. I am so happy to show consistent results and definitely plan to keep it going.
My determination and competitiveness make me a good fit for any college team. I want to run in a great program at great school that also fits me academically & socially.
