I am interested in running for a team and coach that will help me reach my goals of being the best possible runner I can be. I strive for personal bests everyday but understand that growing as a runner is a process. 

I enjoy being part of a team that can be bestfriends,  yet are able to push each other everyday. If teammates can not congratulate and celebrate someone elses accomplishments, that's not the team for me.

Kara was a key member of our varsity running team.  She was committed to our practices and was always ready to offer advice and tips to our more novice team members.  Kara was always a positive force an was always ready to take leadership roles.

At meets she acted as Captain of the team and helped foster a tight knit group that showed good spirit.

Kara had strong results throughout our season and earned a podium finish at CWOSSA to earn a spot at provincials.  Kara would be an asset to any athletic program and it was my pleasure to work with her this past season!

As the former head coach and co-founder of the Georgian Bay Coyotes from 2010-2020, I have known Kara since she was in senior kindergarten or grade 1. As a sports chiropractor, I have had her as a patient for almost 6 years.
Kara is a wonderful young lady. She is polite, kind and has lots of friends. As a runner, she has been our team’s most decorated athlete over the last 11 years, not only locally, but on a provincial level. In grade 7 she was ranked among the top 5 middle distance runners in North America. Her talents as a runner are amazing and have seen very few athletes as committed and hard working as Kara. She is quiet, but opens up much more as you get to know her. She has always been a team leader and a wonderful role model for the younger runners on our team. Her level of passion when she competes is unparalleled.
As a student, Kara continues to excel in the classroom. Her marks are very strong and her time management skills are excellent.
