Personal Statement
I have always wanted to continue my sports career past high school. I play three sports including; volleyball, basketball, and track and field. My sophomore year in track and field was the first time I ever ran the 400m race and I instantly loved it. I have only ran in twice, since I started running it at the end of the season. I have huge goals to get better. I know I can beat my PR if I continue to work for it. School has always been number one to me because I'm always thinking about my future. I constantly think to myself "Will this help me in the long run?" and from there, I make decisions. I've always thought of myself to be a leader. I've been active in my high school ASB, I'm also part of the National Honor Society, and I've been team captain for both my travel and high school volleyball teams.
