Personal Statement
My name is Daisy Lalonde and I'm a senior in high school. I aspire to keep improving not only my athletic ability but also as a person throughout my college experience. Earning a bachelors degree in civil engineering is my academic route I plan to take. I believe I make a good candidate for a team because I enjoy making connections with people that with last a lifetime, I have the drive to constantly improve and set new goals, and have a passion for distance running.

- more of a mental strength camp than running. learned about grit, diet, warm up and cool down, perseverance. Had a 28 mile day through a couple of canyons, a cross canyon race, uphill 5k, relays, and lots of recovery runs.
