What makes me different from other recruits is that I am very devoted and I’m not afraid to work hard for what I want. I want to excel in all that I do academically and in athletics as well. I try very hard to put forth all effort when it comes to my classes as well as all the sports I play.
People always ask me why track and field is my favorite sport. I tell them it’s simple, track is the sport where if I want to get better I have to work at it myself. If I want to continue to excel in my events I have to make that decision on my own or else it won’t show I’m trying in my races or throws.
I am always willing to try something different when it comes to getting better PRs. I never turn down an idea coming from my coach on how I could change something to get an inch further or even a point second faster.
I think I would make a good candidate for someone’s team because not only do I have the qualities that I stated before but I am very competitive and I’m always willing to try my hardest to get where I want to be.
