Athletically, I have played at the highest level of most sports, including soccer, track, basketball, lacrosse, cross country, etc., but have discovered a passion for running that has already, in a very short period of time, changed my life for the better. Some of my best friends are on the teams (XC and track) with me and make going to practice every day fun. In my sophomore year, I made the very difficult decision to give up my other sports to focus exclusively on my running, and I have never been happier.
In the 2022 outdoor season, I finished with All League honors and was awarded MVP on my team. I primarily ran the 1600 and 800, with an occasional 400 in the 4x400 relay. My times improved and I feel great about continuing to progress in my senior year. The 2022 indoor season also went well and our 4x800 relay medalled in the PA Indoor State Championships and ran at New Balance Nationals.
In the 2021 XC season, I finished with First Team All League honors and competed in the PA State Championships in Hershey.
In 2021, unfortunately we did not have an indoor track season due to Covid. However in the outdoor season of 2021, I mainly ran the 800, 1600, and the 4X800. My relay received All League honors from our performance in the league championship.
In the fall of 2020, I had my first XC season as a sophomore (I played high school soccer my freshman year). I finished with All League honors as a sophomore and finished third on my team.
In my 2020 indoor track season, I mostly competed in the 800. At the end of the season, I received the "Rookie of the Year“ award.
