Running has always been an aspect of my life, whether it was running in soccer games to running at states my freshman year. I have run both varsity cross country and varsity track all four years of high school, and there truly is nothing like the friendships and community created in this positive atmosphere of runners. I was originally unsure if I wanted to pursue running in college or not, however I am not ready to give up on this sport. This sport has given me so many friends and so many opportunities, and I want more time to continue on this journey. I have always strived for validation, both academically and athletically, and I want my hard work to continue through my collegiate years.
