Piper Linn '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Piper Linn, part of the class of 2024 at Greencastle Antrim High School in Greencastle, Pennsylvania. I am a dedicated student athlete, my first serious athletic endeavor was gymnastics and I fell in love instantly. Several years into gymnastics I decided I wanted to compete at the college level and geared my training towards that goal. However after 9 years of competitive gymnastics and a back injury (fully resolved) I decided to retire from the sport and pursue pole vaulting in hopes to compete at the college level. I was aware that my high school did not have a pole vaulting coach so I found a club team and began training in January of 2022. My first outdoor season as a sophomore my PR was 10'3". I continued to train with the club team and a personal trainer to improve some areas of weakness. In my outdoor season of 2023 I made a new PR of 12'0" and qualified for New Balance Nationals. I am dedicated to maintaining good grades and always performing my best in athletics. I look forward to continuing my athletic carreer in college.
