I’m Hannah Shaw. My goal is to compete pole vault in college while also majoring in architecture. I grew up doing gymnastics and competed till level 9 before lowering my level to excel diamond to give me more time to practice pole vault. They say that gymnasts have a background that help in pole vault so I tried it in seventh grade and immediately knew that is where I belong. I practice as much as possible, even on my days off on my own. I have been told that I am very coachable and I always have a positive attitude.
