Track and running has been with me ever since I was a little girl. I started running when I was 5 years old with cross-country. The enjoyment of running directed me towards the track, which I started in 3rd grade. As a sophomore, my main events are the 800 and 400 meters. What makes a person stand from the crowd is self-motivation, determination, and grades. Throughout these interesting times, having a personality and key principles is what makes a student-athlete. The goals that I aspire to are running 2:10 in the 800 meters and 55 seconds in the 400 meters as a high school senior. Last indoor track season, my 9th grade year, I achieved a time of 2:22.1 in the 800 meters. Working hard throughout the summer is how results show. By determination, doing track workouts or a long-distance run, will help me prepare for the next track season. Even though it is the indoor track season, I still like to make realistic goals for myself. As a high school sophomore, I continue to work hard both in the classroom and the track to achieve these goals.
