My collegiate goals are to get accepted to and compete for a major university on the track team while persuing a Business degree and explore the Culinary Arts, as I would like to one day open my own Cafe/Pastry/Baking shop. I am hardworking, dependable, and always give 100% towards my training as well as my academic efforts. Something I feel that makes me different from other athletes is my never give up attitude. An example of this would be during my second meet into my eighth grade season I suffered a minor tear in my right quad while running a 200 meter sprint after running the 100 meter hurdles, and even though a good amount of my fellow teammates either chose to sit out or even quit running track after a minor injury or even a bad result in an event, I chose not to. I began physical therapy, got a quad wrap brace and kept running, even managing a personal best of 17.2 by the end of the season and earning a chance to run at the end of season Invitationals for our county, where I placed 6th overall, which to me shows I don't give up or quit when things get tough, I keep trying.
