2021 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I am currently a junior at Avon Grove high school, running on the Varsity track team. In college, I plan to study in the field of biology or physics, but am still undecided.
I have always been involved in sports, settling into gymnastics for 4 years and horseback riding for 10 years. In 2020- my freshman year- I joined Avon Grove's track team, but as COVID shut us down, my first season was not until winter of 2021. Despite this setback, I have been running continually faster times in the 400m and 200m.
My work ethic extends to academics, which I put before anything else. I am enrolled in all honors and AP courses, have a 4.6/5.5 GPA, and am ranked 8 out of 425 in my class. This year, I was inducted into the National Honors Society. I balance track, school, and my part time job at a horse farm. Outside of school, I love spending time in nature, being around horses, and drawing.
