Have you found yourself in a complicated situation whereyou think your future could be ruined and your mind stagnatesbut your desire to achieve your goals and be successful wins? I’m part of the 2024 senior class of Saint Francis School and I want to go to the University because I think I can provide athletic participation and good academic performance.
I am a Track & Field Athlete. I spend most of my time training to be a better athlete everyday. Since I was a little girl, I have always liked being in the sports environment and I have always been a girl with big dreams. My family always supports me and the most important thing, I have myself supporting me. I love achieving my goals with sacrifice. For me, that is the most satisfying feeling. With sacrifice I have achieve some of all the goals I have for my life. In addition to receiving a Track & Field scholarship when I was younger, which was my start to love this sport, since then I have had the opportunity to belong to the Track & Field different activities and also Cross Country activities. Although my event is not Cross Country I had that experience to belong to my School´s Cross Country team since 8th grade. I have belonged in competitions representing my School and my outside club like Poly Relays in Puerto Rico, Puerto Rico High School Athletic Alliance (PRHSAA),Federacion de Atletismo de Puerto Rico (FAPUR) (Athletics Federation of Puerto Rico), AAJIPR, UAAPR and AAU Championships in Orlando.
My future goal is to become a proffesional Orthodontist and have my own clinic, having athletic experiences at the university level. My personal goal is to became a better person, a better citizen, a better athlete and show many people that everything can be achieved once you are confident, work hard, and aspire to everything positive in your life and also provide positivism to the world.
I am applying on B.S. in Biology because is the most recommended major to later entering in the College of Dentistry. The Universities can provide to me a good knowledge that can lead me to success, it can also provide to me the opportunity to represent them in the Track Team and mostly to my final goal, be a Professional Orthodontist with my own clinic or company in the future.
My name is Keyshlian Enid Torres Pedraza, and I would love to belong to a University that can offers me a scholarship on Track and that I can also study Biology.
