My name is Adrienne Brown and I am 15 years old. I run track for Beaufort High School in Beaufort, South Carolina. My main even is the 400 meter dash. I also run the 100 and the 200 as well as the 4x4 and the 4x1. I have very lofty goals set for myself that I plan to achieve within the next 20 years of my life, including participating in the 2020 Olympics. I believe that going to college and getting a good education is important in being successful in any other aspect of life.
My goal is to acquire a doctorates degree in sports medicine by doing an undergrad study of kinesiology at a school that fits me well. I am looking for a school that has a strong athletics program as well as a challenging academic program.
I believe in having a game plan set. A school that I can be comfortable in is a big thing for me in the sense that I work better in an environment where I feel safe and welcome.
Track and Field has afforded me many opportunities thus far. I have been blessed to see and do many things due to my athletic ability. In July of 2016 I was able to partake in an international meet in Australia. I won the 100, placed 3rd in the 200, and took home 4th place in the 400. in July of 2015, I participated in the Wide Word of Sports meet at the Disney ESPN complex. I was able to pull off 6th place in the 100 among the best of the best athletes in the nation.
It is my deepest desire that I can be an asset to a college on as well as off of the track.
