I became a distance runner in my sophomore year of high school. I've worked to achieve my personal best times, improving my 5k time from the 26-minute range to the 22-minute range in 2 years. I ran a 6-minute mile in a meet last year in the outdoor season but recently ran a 5:33. I’m dedicated to improving and working on my technique, building endurance, and staying consistent. I moved from North Attleboro High School (MA) to Conway High School (SC) before my senior year of high school, so my times are posted on Milesplit and Athletic.net. Running has been essential in my life and helped me overcome many hardships throughout high school. My goals are to run 2:20 in the 800 meters, 5:30 in the mile, and ultimately reach the 20-minute range in the 5k. I'm very excited about the possibilities of running in college.
