Between being an athlete and being a student most people chose to be an athlete first or a student first. Well I chose both I have a 4.3 GPA on a 5.0 GPA scale I jump my best at every practice and every meet. I don’t take my problems from the track home or into my student life, and I don’t take me frustrations from school down to the track . When I step in school to me I am no longer an athlete I am a student so that I’m not trying to focus on my next meet or what I didn’t do at practice the day before I think about how I’m going to better myself as a student or how I can get my grade up or pass this next test, same for my athletic life I’m not a student just an athlete focused on how to better my self and how to be prepared for anything and everything.
