Hello, my name is Destiny Ingram and I am passionate about Track & Field and Cross Country. I completed my first season of Cross Country (21:55) and made it to State at Sandhills Research Center! I plan to continue my love for 800 (2.32), 400 (1.02), discus (74.4), javelin (75) and Cross Country. I have been participating with Augusta Flyers AAU and will start working with a personal trainer off season to improve my skills.
I love to work with youth and will be pursuing a degree in Elementary Education/Early Childhood as a Second Grade Teacher. I want to mentor and train other athletes and be a spokesperson/model for athletic apparel.
When I run, I feel free, when I apply myself, I feel accomplished, when I win, I feel fulfilment. I believe in team work and giving up is not an option. I wish for the opportunity to train further in college and continue to improve each and every day. All I need is a chance.
Thank you,
Destiny Ingram
