My goals for college are to compete in track and field meets at the collegiate level, to develop my athletic skills and being successful academically in my major. I’m currently in the top 14% of my graduating class.
I’m a two-sport athlete who also lifts and competes in Highland Games for fun. Although I compete in all three events offered at my school, I’m most passionate about javelin. Every day I strive to be a better student and athlete than I was yesterday. Both present and past coaches have said that I’m very coachable, hardworking, dedicated, and passionate in all that I do and I know that I would be an asset to your program.
During the past 12 months, I’ve improved my javelin pr over 30 feet (as well as improving in my other events) by going to multiple clinics, training with a personal strength coach, and conditioning with a strength coach at my school. I’m confident that I will continue to grow as an athlete in the coming years.
