As a student- athlete I work hard each and every day to reach my goals and become successful. If I see myself giving up, I always remind myself that there is a reason why I started. I aspire to major in healthcare and specialize in becoming a practical nurse specialist in the military. I've always wanted this career because I want to do something thats challenging, interesting, and makes a difference in people's lives daily.
One of my biggest goals is to stay in school and get an education. I'm determined to reach my full potential, by staying focus and dedicated. There are many things that set me apart from not only being an athlete, but also a student. I am a leader and set positive examples for others on and off the track, I embrace the values of Honor, coourage, and commitment, I believe that I am a inspirational person because I encourage and uplift others. When my teammates, friends, or even people that I don't know tell me that I inspire them, I feel proud because it let me know that I have a positive impact on people lives, they look up to me, and follow my lead. I'm a very humble person, I don't think I'm better than anyone else, I don't think less of others. I want to see everyone succeed, not just myself.
I stick to the basics, Hardwork and determination. I will always put my all into everything I do, and continue to work on my goals and achievements as a student-athlete. I believe if I stay focused and stick to the key points that I have listed, I will become the person I have always dreamed about becoming, a flourishing collegiate level track star, while studying to become a practical nurse specialist.
