My name is Dalencia Kittrell and I am a junior from University School in Johnson City, TN. I began running track as an 8th grader and have since been devoted to the sport, breaking 2 school records in both the 200m and 400m, competing in 3 state championships, and advancing to the AAU National Junior Olympics in 2023 and 2024. Growing up in Haiti, I never had the chance to run on a real track until I moved to America in the 4th grade. Now, running is my passion! Looking to the future, I am excited to continue to grow as an athlete and pursue a career in the medical field. My dream is to see just how far I can go with the right coaching and team, and to use my platform as an athlete to represent Haiti.
