Sami Parker '22 Recruiting Profile

Being a student athlete through cross country and track has helped build my character and develop into who I am today. Running has shown me to have a positive outlook on life, strive to be the best version of myself, help others, and be kind. I have many aspirations. I strongly believe that if you want to achieve your goals, you have to put in the effort and time to earn that goal. The college I seek to go is a place that offers a great nursing program to help me prepare for a career in nursing. As well as strong, close knit running program that will challenge me and make me strive. But also is very team oriented program where I could not just call people my teammates but as my friends and family. I'm a huge team player, who encourages and helps everyone, and am excited to learn from coaches. I strive to brighten someone's day, even if it is just making them laugh. I am a great student who studies hard, meets the deadlines, and makes school one of my top priorities, besides church and running. I'm a  cross country and distance runner at Oakland High School who strives to compete at the highest level.
