I have been running track for as long as I can remember. That being said, I cannot imagine my college experience without it. I am an extremely hard worker and do not give up until I have completed the challenge/goal at hand. For example, for the 2020 track season, my goal was to break 25.00 in the 200 M, however due to Coronavirus, I was not able to compete because my Junior year season was cancelled. Despite this, I have continued to train with this original goal in mind. One of my favorite things about track and field is being a part of a team. I love being a part of a team because I not only have the opportunity to meet other driven athletes, but also gain new friends in the process. I am flexible and easy going and always put the team's needs before my own. Not only do I hold myself to a high standard in athletics, but also in academics. I have consistently taken at least three honors and AP classes throughout high school. Due to this, I am never afraid to ask for help, make mistakes, and fail in order to learn-both on and off the track. My collegiate goals are to one run Division 1, beat all of my PRs, improve my techniques as a sprinter, and to help my team win.
