I have always had a passion for sports, and have tried many of them but track has always stood out to me.I want to be clear that I am a STUDENT first. Am I an exceptional athlete, yes! My academics will always come first, I strive to make sure that I am on the right track. My GPA is 3.9-4.0. My goal is to reach a 4.5. I want to Major in business and soon open my own Real Estate firm. I enjoy class very much and will always stay on track and take my grades seriously. To be an athlete means taking care of my school work first then stepping on the track and handling business there as well.I just participated in the 2022 in the Junior Olympics and made a Personal Record in the 400m dash with a time of 58.08. This was my first full year competing in the AAU outdoor track meets. I can confidently say I am not done yet, reaching this goal was motivation. There is so much more to come! I understand that this time may be higher than it should be, but I have improved since my most recent life changing event during the Junior Olympics. Running summer track has helped me with my overall growth. I was able to focus on how to make Caleya better in every way; physically, mentally, and spiritually. With that, I am also able to run and improve my times in the 100 (12.44), 200 (25.96), 400 (58.11), as well as long Jump (17’3).
