2019 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Hello, my name is Alyssa Magallanez. I am dedicated to pursuing a future in the medical field (nursing), while improving my athletic ability in women's high jump. I have steadily progressed in high jump every year I have competed. I am excited about the coaching and competition I will face at the collegiate level. I am also excited about the comradery I will build with my teammates and coaches. In addition to track, I am an officer on my high school dance team. Being an officer has helped me learn what leadership and perseverance is all about. This has helped me mentally prepare for track competition. I am one that has never shied away from competition and tend to come back stronger when defeated.
I strongly believe I will be an asset to the team I join in college. Thank you for your consideration.
