Mattisyn Taylor '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church, loving, fun, outgoing, and friendly. I am a sophomore at Bangs High School and an honor student. I am a varsity player in multiple sports. I have played softball since I was 4. I am currently in varsity softball and varsity discus. I recently advanced to Regionals for Discuss. Thanks to my coaches, I started falling in love with discus in middle school. Being smaller others underestimate my ability to throw. It is nice to see their reaction! My favorite compliment from coaches, teammates, and even opposing teams is having a positive attitude and being very coachable. I love to hang out with friends or family when not playing sports. I have a big family therefore I have a large support system.
