2023 SpotlightPersonal Statement
I initially began running in 7th grade to continue the legacy of my older brother that passed away from cancer. He never got to finish his goals, so everything I do is to live up to him and to honor God. I take both academics and sports very seriously. I will push myself to the limit because I believe, “there is no such thing as peaking.” I have not settled on a college major or a definitive career focus, but I do aspire to be a pro-athlete. My goal is to be the best version of myself and be successful both academically and in sports.
