Hello, my name is Gwendolyn Mueller and I am currently in 8th grade. I am excited to continue my academic and athletic career into highschool and beyond to college. I am not sure what I want to study while in college but I know I will be great at whatever I decide to do. I am good at math and if I had to choose, it would be my favorite subject. I make good grades, A's and B's, but I am always striving to do better. I take all honors classes so the teachers expect a lot out of us and I'm okay with that.
My favorite event in track is the 300m hurdles, I actually set my middle school record last year when I was in 7th grade. I hope to beat that this year. On my free time I enjoy reorganizing my room, walking outside and playing with my brother and our dogs. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends and going to the movies.
I think I would be a great addition to any team because I am outgoing and enjoy being pushed by my peers and I strive to do better at every turn. I am a good leader but also know when to follow. I think that any team would be lucky to have me and I know that I would be grateful as well. I hope I get the chance to compete at the college level.

- Attended the camp to help with sprinting and learning new and better ways to be a faster runner. Effective use of blocks to start, breathing, running for maximum potential.

- Athletics during school and training with my dad on our spare time.

- Sports training during school practice. Light weights (bench press, curls, squats, pushups, situps) and cardio after school with my dad. There is park or track for us to use after school so we have a home gym including sauna that we use. I used to do Jui Jitsu but it started to interfere with school so I stopped training.

- In 7th and 8th grade I played basketball. I made the B team in 7h grade and in 8th grade I made the A team. My position is post.

- I ran cross country during my 8th grade year because the coach asked me to after seeing me run track in 7th grade. It was a great time and got me in better shape for basketball season and track season.

- This is my second year of running track for my middle school. I run 300 hurdles, 100m dash, 400m dash, and 1600m relay.
