In 5th grade I thought it would be fun to play soccer, then in 7th grade I started cross country as a way to keep my fitness level up in the off season not knowing at the time the commitment and life-changing it would have on me. I continued to run cross country switching back over to soccer after the season ended discovering wrestling and rounding my school year running track 1 mile and 2 mile events. I'm dedicated and motivated to continue to improve as an athlete and person both on and off the track. No matter win or defeat I try to keep my spirit up and not forget I'm part of a team and we got there together.
